Job Description

Location: Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders, particularly in higher education facilities.
  • Ensure project success by collaborating closely with a cohesive team from the design phase through to project completion, upholding safety and quality.
  • Address technical challenges on-site using your problem-solving skills to meet project goals efficiently and economically.
  • Manage project changes and scope variations while maintaining balance in costs, budgets, schedules, and personnel.
  • Suggest, estimate, and present project enhancements to clients.
  • Assess energy performance factors before finalizing implementation decisions.
  • Oversee the execution of project construction, staying within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in construction management, project management or project engineering, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
  • Background in HVAC or mechanical construction.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Team player with a positive outlook, resilience, and determination.
  • Ability to think quickly and critically under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Resourceful with strong judgment skills.
